Exciting New Changes!

I love to blog, and I really love designing blogs. I think that the new layouts that Blogger has come out with are so fun!  They start out bland, but after a little tweaking in the css, it turns out pretty cute!
I knew that they were coming out with these, I just didn't know how soon.  Love it!
What do you think about the new look?

The Boys Wrestling

The boys love playing together. Of course there are times it gets too rough. But that's when mommy or daddy steps in.
Here's a time when they were wrestling, but it turned out okay!

Can you tell that it makes me nervous when they wrestle with each other? Robbie is still small compared to Jed. I would be so sad if he got hurt. Again. lol They sleep in the same room now. Well, it's only been the second night, but HEY! That's a lot better than what it was before: Robbie was in our room at night. No fun. Especially since Robbie has a "Mommy-Radar."
Anytime I would get in bed he would wake-up. Can you imagine?

Absolute Love

I absolutely love this young man. (This time I'm talking about the man, not the baby. Although I do love the baby, too.)  He makes life such a sweet journey.  A wonderful dad, a great cook as of recent, and an adoring husband.

But sometimes... we just don't get along.
I like bananas, he can't stand the smell of them.
He loves sci-fi, it kind of gets on my nerves.
I enjoy music theory, he just laughs at me.
He follows the stock market, I'm like... what?

Here's a recent scenario for you:
"Jed, where's the iPod?"
-"I don't know."
"You had it last, where did you put it?"
-"I didn't have it last, check in the bedroom. Or, I put it on the desk."
"Jed, it's not on the desk. You were taking the video with the iPod then you sat down on the couch. Where did you put it?"
-"Here, I'll find it for you."  He stands up, walks across the room, then puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out the iPod. My dad starts cracking up. He puts it on the desk then sits back down.
-"There, see! I put it on the desk."
I thought to myself, unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.

Despite the frustration, I just laughed. What a way to live life, with him in it.
I just can't imagine it without him.  He swept me off my feet, that's for sure.

Marriage has it's difficulties, but the rewards are so great.  Jed is my companion, he is the other half of me.  If he's not happy, my heart cries. If he is smiling, I can't help but feel relief.
And when he pushes my buttons, I pinch him.  Haha.

I'm so excited to grow old with him. That way we can make fun of each others wrinkles.

Happy Birthday to you!

My father came to visit us this past weekend. It was neat to be able to sit down and talk with him, to catch up from the past year. We watched hilarious YouTube videos, shared corny jokes, and ate birthday cake! It was his birthday Sunday!

I looked out the window and what did I see?

This warmed my heart.

Update time!

Big Jed:  Right now hubby is walking to school in the rain.  We live just 2-3 blocks from his classes, so he walks everyday. But today it's raining!  He would take the car, except the fact that we don't have a parking permit.  So, he'll be a little wet.  He's a trooper.  This is his LAST semester! He graduates in December. I'm so proud of him.

Madeline:  I'm at home this semester with the kiddos. Last semester I took a campus class, but I'm not doing anything this semester.  I spend the daytime trying to keep up with diapers, snack time, and my design clients. I'm really blessed to be able to work from home and raise my boys.  We've moved and love our new apartment.

Little Jed:  He turns two-years-old in October.  He's found a new love: Pixar.  He watches the movie Cars especially everyday. Sometimes twice a day. He calls it "kaw-kars." He wouldn't really sit through a movie before, but now he will sit through the whole thing!  I never thought that I would have to say "Okay, now it's time to turn off the TV and do something else."
We just took him out of his crib. He sleeps on a just a crib mattress. I thought it would be a hard transition, but he took it pretty well.  It's been a week now, and he has no trouble staying in his bed when it's nap or nighttime.
This is also day 3 without a bottle. (He loves his bottle.) But he seems to not notice that I've been giving him milk in a sippy cup. How come I didn't do these things a long time ago!?

Robbie:  He is 9 months old. A chunker, for sure. It's so funny, one of his thighs has a chubby crease, and the other one doesn't.  I guess I assumed that chubby legs would be symmetrical. He used to sleep through the night on his own. But after we went on vacation, he forgot how to.  So it's been tiring trying to get him to relearn how to fall and stay asleep on his own.
He's such a momma's boy!  He loves to cuddle.  That is definitely different than Lil Jed, who rarely cuddled.

I'm so happy that we are all healthy and safe.  There are so many things happening in the world that scare me.  The recent hurricane on the east coast, the flooding in Pakistan... can you imagine if any of that happened to you?  Our prayers go out to all those in need of help and comfort.

J+C April Wedding

Summer is coming to a close. I remember a few months ago at the beginning of spring, Jake (Jed's brother) and Candace got married. But I can't quite remember if I already posted pictures. So here are a few:
Jed and I got to be a part of the wedding party.
It was a lot of fun!

My boys are too handsome!

Robbie's lil Video

I made a cute little compilation of Robbie's cuteness.

Scrolling Through...

I absolutely {LOVE} this little face.  This is lil Jed a YEAR ago. His face has changed so much. (And needless to say he's grown a few inches taller.)

This week is going to bEe a buzzzzy one.   On the 8th we are moving back into an apartment. No more house. No more backyard. ;'(  and no more HUGE bill that we really can't afford that I'm struggling to cover!   DEEP BREATH...

Not only that, but I'll be continuing to work on a fun website... My little blog business has really eXpL0dEd!  If you haven't checked it out recently, you should. (/just so you can say you did\)
